Artists
In supporting and employing practitioners in and from Wiltshire and the wider South West, we foster talent retention across the region.
To date Folio has commissioned 10 new plays for full production, employing over 150 freelance creatives, with 75% from Wiltshire and the South West.
By inspiring artists to develop their career in the area they call home, we hope to support a thriving community of exciting talent in rural areas, collaborating to create work across the breadth of the UK and encouraging talent retention outside of big cities.
“I loved my first introduction to working with Folio and would be very keen to do so in the future. My main take away is the support that I felt we were given as artists and freelancers” – Joe Hancock, director and practitioner
